Staff Thoughts
Please help me in keeping a few staff members with recent family losses in our thoughts. Kara Baumgartner's grandma passed away in late March, leaving behind beautiful memories. And just over a week ago, Sheri Krueger and her husband Tom said goodbye to Tom's mother. The care and support of our work family is always a blessing as any of us navigate through losses such as this. Thank you in keeping them in your heart.
We would like to get in one more round of #ObserveMe for this school year. The window for this ObserveMe round will be April 2nd - May 8th. We will reflect on the observations you have at the May 8th staff meeting and May 14th collab.
NEW for this round:
* NEW- #Observe me look for sheet is linked in the spreadsheet - please use this look for sheet to as you go into a classroom to give you ideas of what you can observe * NEW- If you would like to be observed and have not been observed yet during an #ObserveMe last year or this school year, please bold your name and put a star* by your name so staff know you would really like to be observed.
Helpful Hints:
*Only ONE Observation needs to be completed. If you would like to observe more than one teacher, feel free!
*Please make a copy of your observation form to give to the teacher you observe and keep a copy for yourself. *All directions are at the top of the #ObserveMe spreadsheet.

With Forward Exam testing taking place in the next number of weeks. EXTRA SPECIAL CARE and HELP is needed in the hallway expectations. Here are some ways you can help students follow those expectations. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!
- Teachers walk with students to and from specials or transitions
- Have the class line up quietly before you walk into the hallway
- Hold up a Level 0 sign while walking your line
- Give out coins and compliments to those who are following the expectations
- Practice - if a student is struggling, use a reteach and have them try it again. If the entire class is struggling, stop and have them go back and do it again.
