LOUNGE is STOCKED!
The upper cabinets between the microwaves and the refrigerator on the right hand side are filled with snacks and beverages to keep you going this week during inservice. Thank you to the PAC for helping to supply them. Take what you need during breaks, between meetings, and etc. The week is busy and I know you work non-stop all week to prep for our students. Enjoy!!!!
HELP NEEDED.... I ask for your help in keeping the staff lounge neat and tidy. This time of year tends to lead to some purging and finding items that are extra and not needed. I appreciate you checking with colleagues to see if they have a need, but would prefer if you take a picture and send it to EQ all letting staff know that they can pick up the items from you/your room. If items are not claimed within 5 day s or so please feel free to toss. If it is larger furniture items, please talk with Stacy before disposing. With our lounge being smaller, we just do not have the means to store or display things not needed. If you have brought items in there thank you for taking care of them in bringing them back to your room or disposing of them. Thanks everyone! I know we will have staff wanting to eat in the lounge this week and in the current state that won't be pleasant.
Staff Bulletin Feedback
Thank you for your responses to the survey I had sent out at the end of August for feedback on the Staff Bulletin. I appreciate your taking the time to respond. If you'd like to view the results, click here. We plan on working to keep those items that were 50% or higher on the most useful/interesting sections and will continue to post on the weekend. I will also continue to keep those priority areas for our Continuous School Improvement Plans and other focus areas such as Bridges implementation in focus within the bulletin.

Sign up for 23-24 EQ ANNOUNCEMENTS SeeSaw Class
Each year I make a new SeeSaw class for the announcements. The directions are below to sign up for the SeeSaw Class. The "code" will not work to publish because the codes are only good for 1 hour. If you are having issues, please let me know. Thanks!
UPDATE 8/27/23 - 6:42 p.m. A few staff have tried this and had issues. We tried to problem solve together and still couldn't figure it out. No worries...we'll take a look at it this week. So much for being prepped in advance. LOL!
The Power of RELATIONSHIPS
PurposeFull People has many options for conversation starters, activities and authentic engagement opportunities to help begin building relationships with students. Remember also the work we had done in prior years on the SIGNIFICANT 72 from Greg Wolcoctt. You might remember premise of taking the first 72 hours of our school year (3 days) to really focus on making connections between and with students and building those strong relationships from day one. Elementary SAFETY WEEK is Sept. 18-22
Mark your calendars to anticipate safety week during Sept. 19-23. Secondary and Elementary are having safety week on separate weeks this year (RVMS/KHS Sept. 11-15; Elementary Sept. 18-22) Specific information on dates, drills, and times will be shared with you as the week gets closer.
