I will be out of the building/district all day on Monday and Tuesday.  Kara, Tara, Stacy W., Niki and I are attending a Collective Efficacy Institute (along with staff from Tanner, KHS, and DO) in Appleton.  Autumn and Pupil Service will be here to support  in my place.  We look forward to learning more to strengthen our understanding of Collective Efficacy which is the main strategy underneath all of our step charts in our efforts to improve teaching, learning, behavior, attendance, and more within our school community.

Staff Thoughts

I kindly ask that we keep Stephanie Lancour, Kayla Sprangers and their families in our thoughts.  Stephanie's step mom passed away last weekend and Kayla's future father-in-law passed away on Thursday. Our kindness and support as colleagues and friends can be a great source of comfort during these times

Welcome Madison Carter

We welcome Madison Carter to Electa Quinney beginning this week.  Madison will be student teaching in Katie Durrant's room for 2nd quarter.  She has been completing her schooling at UW-Eau Claire. Thank you for helping make her feel at home at our school.  Welcome Madison!

November Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Student/Teacher conferences are ahead next week.  Should there be a conference you would like me to sit in on, please feel free to ask.  Thank you again for the wonderful work and the extra time that you put into completing conference reports.  - Stacy

#ObserveMe

Our #ObserveMe cycle is up and running.  It's so great walking into classrooms and seeing another staff member there observing.  We appreciate you getting in two half hour blocks between now and Dec. 14th to observe a colleague.

1.  Enter in at least two half hour blocks (more blocks if you'd like) that a colleague could come in and observe.
2.  Choose two half hour blocks from 10/23 to 12/14 schedule an observation (academic and behavior). Staff may choose to observe over prep time, recess time, or swap a prep with a colleague.
3.  Be sure to include the date you intend to observe and your name when you schedule the observation.  Only one staff sign up per observation time.
4,  Send a Google Calendar invite to the colleague you are observing.
5.  Complete the Oct. - Dec. Reflection Take Away Sheet during the observation.
6.  Make a copy share with the teacher you observed.

District Wide Food Drive

Thank you for your support and promotion of donations of food from those able to donate for the NHS Food Drive.  It would be interesting to see if we could get close in the running once again after loosing to RV for a few years now.

Yearbook Pictures

Please add any and all classroom pictures to our 23-24 Yearbook Pictures folder. We are always in need of more photos to use in our school yearbook.

Just a reminder to keep in mind the Do Not Publish Picture List when uploading pictures.

Thank you all!
