Your Voice Matters: Community Perceptions Survey
I want to emphasize the importance of your input on the survey on our proposed long-range facilities plan, . Your unique perspectives and insights are invaluable in shaping the future of our district.
You should have received the survey in your email on Friday, May 10. The email would have come from from School Perceptions. If you don't spot it, remember to check your spam folder. And of course, feel free to reach out to me or Kelsey Norton if you have any questions or concerns.
Let's make sure our staff voice is heard loud and clear. Together, we can contribute to building an even stronger educational environment for our students and community.
Thank you for your dedication and participation in this crucial survey. Let's make our mark before June 7th rolls around!
Color Run
We are so close to meeting our school fundraising goal!! If we hit our $15,000 goal, students will have a KONA ICE DAY!
We have t-shirt purchased as you know for all students so we need to push to get all students registered or as close to all as we can so we can justify that we are giving a t-shirt to all. So thank you for really encouraging them to register and reminding them they DO NOT need to donate to register or after. Of course we hope they click the button to easily share via social media because that is how those that are able to donate do get donations and why FundHub works so well. We are on our last week of fundraising so please keep showing your classroom home page and encouraging engagement. Thank you!
Staff Color Run Stations Sign Up (Classroom teachers will run/walk with class, MAPEL/Support Staff please sign up for a station to work at with parent volunteers). Please sign up on the link below.
We will have the dunk tank on May 29thin the PM. If you are interested in being someone students could choose to dunk please add your name to the list on the document below. Thank you!

Chromebook Turn in - May 24th
At the end of each year the library team checks in and inspects all student Chromebooks during the last rotation of checkout class. During this time they also swap out Chromebooks that need to be deprovisioned, typically around 30 chromebooks. This year the number of Chromebooks that need to be deprovisioned is over 150. This means that the library staff will need to collect student devices and will not be able to provide a loaner.
Since there are not enough loaner Chromebooks to swap out for the Chromebooks that need to be deprovisioned and to keep technology in the hands of students as long as possible, the library team will wait until Friday, May 24th to check in and collect student Chromebooks.
What that means for you:
- Student Chromebooks that need to be deprovisioned will be collected on Friday, May 24th.
- Please plan for low tech lessons for May 28th and 29th as you will not have a class set of Chromebooks.
- Be on the lookout for further communication from Angela, on when your class will come to the library on Friday, May 24th.
- Library Checkout will be cancelled for Cooksey, Sprangers, and Maki on Friday, May 24th
As the school year draws to a close, our anticipation mounts for the Breaking Boundaries Triathlon scheduled for May 17th. Over the past few years, different classes have demonstrated their backing for our student athletes and their mentors by lining the CE trail and cheering them on. We extend the invitation once more to you and your classes to join in showing your support if possible. Athletes will be passing by your schools from approximately 10:30 to 11:30. Witnessing the community unite is always a standout moment.
Thank you for considering,
The Breaking Boundaries Triathlon Committee
We are in the process of planning the end of the year gathering. If you would so kindly respond, it will help us prepare!
Thank you so much!
Jessica, Jenny and Trisha
