I will be out of the building/district all day on Thursday and Friday. I am attending the AWSA Elementary Principals convention in Brookfield along with the other KASD Elementary Principals. Pupil Service will be here to support and Ted Selker and Josh Iverson (RV Asst. Principals) will be on call as an admin.

Staff Thoughts

As you know Kristie Kiesow was out of school on Thursday and Friday of last week. It is with great sadness and care that I share that Kristie's oldest brother passed away last week unexpectedly. The obituary can be viewed by clicking here. Please keep Kristie and her family in your thoughts. Sorry for the loss of someone so special Kristie.

Before School

Thank you for helping us to remind students that we do not put the balls/equipment out in the AM before school because students are really only at school for 10 minutes or less (7:35-7:45) and with the potential of 550+ students on the playground between EQ and NDLC at one time it is not safe. Thank you for helping to reteach them also that balls/equipment are not to be brought to school from home and any balls/equipment found outside from the day prior can be given to the teachers outside. Thank you!

Family Event Date Change

Our first family event for 2023-24 is scheduled for THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19th 5:30-7:00. This family event will be based on giving parents some exposure to Bridges Number Corner, Workplaces, and Technology options for home. We will have three classrooms per grade level being used as well as the cafeteria. We will have some students from KHS Key Club helping in the cafeteria so that teaching staff can be in the classrooms to interact with families about math and technology.
